Karttikeya's father Shiva is the god of Transformation. His mother is Parvati, Shiva's wife: Daughter of the Mountain and goddess of Power, Fertility and Benevolence. She is also known as Shakti, the feminine power, primordial creative energy.
Their son is considered as the philosopher-warrior god of Hinduism, destroyer of ego.

The next Kirtan will be on Saturday, July 17th 2021, part of ADATA (A Day At The Ashram), an intense full-day retreat. This ADATA will be in honour of Guru Purnima, the yearly celebration of Transmission of Knowledge.
