Yesterday we were invited to participate in Monaco for the 6th edition of the International Day of Yoga. Here is a small talk about the importance of meditation in Mahatma Gandhi's life, followed by one of his favourite Bhajans (devotional songs).
Saraswati - lead vocals, harmonium
Nihar Mehta - chanda (tabla-like drum)
Kisha - karatala, vocals
(Song starts at 11:53)
RAM DHUN
Raghupati Rāghava Rājārām Patita Pāvana Sītārām
Shri Rām Jay Rām Jay Jay Rām
Shri Rām Jay Rām Jay Jay Rām
Ishwara Allah Tere Nām
Sab Ko Sanmati De Bhagawān
Hail Lord Ram, chief of the House of Raghu
And your beloved consort Sita
Saviours of the downtrodden.
Victory to Ram, the eternal One
Whether your name is Ishwara or Allah
May the Supreme Being bestow wisdom on all
